It is recognized as Trojan/Casdet!rfn by Windows 11 Defender; however, I couldn't yet confirm any suspicious network traffic or activity after installing it. It injects code to apps, which is why I assume it's a false positive. Use with caution and only on emulators and offline machines resp. only with apps and browsers that do not process confidential passwords.

PowerStrip bietet fortschrittliche, multi-monitorfähige, programmierbare Hardware-Unterstützung für eine breite Palette von Grafikkarten – von der ehrwürdigen Matrox Millennium I bis zu AMD Radeon-Grafikkarten. Es ist das einzige Programm seiner Art, das mehrere Grafikkarten von verschiedenen Chipsatzherstellern gleichzeitig unterstützt, unter jedem Windows-Betriebssystem von Windows 95 bis zur 64-Bit-Edition von Windows 7.
Ein einfaches Menü, das aus dem System-Tray aufgerufen wird, bietet Zugriff auf rund 500 Steuerungen für Ihre Anzeigehardware, einschließlich ausgefeilter Farbkorrekturwerkzeuge, periodischer Anpassungen der Bildschirmgeometrie und treiberunabhängiger Taktsteuerungen.
Schließlich bietet es eine Auswahl an System- und Produktivitätstools – darunter umfangreiche Diagnosen, PCIe- und AGP-Gerätekonfiguration, EDID-Decodierung, Desktop-Icon-Verwaltung, einen Systemleerlauf-Thread, Windows-Ressourcenüberwachung, eine Anti-Einbrenn-Orbit-Option und physische Speicheroptimierung.
PowerStrip 3 war für den Einsatz mit Grafikkarten vorgesehen, die bis 2008 hergestellt wurden, aber um Ihre Investition in noch ältere Hardware zu schützen, wird eine breite Palette von ansonsten verwaisten Display-Adaptern unterstützt, einschließlich solcher, die auf Chips von 3dfx, Number Nine, Cirrus Logic, Rendition, S3 und Tseng Labs basieren. Allerdings wurden einige wenige Chips, die von älteren Versionen von PowerStrip unterstützt wurden, leider aus Version 3 entfernt. Falls erforderlich, kann PowerStrip 2.78 für sie verwendet werden.
